This summer I will be developing a new piece for the FailSafe Festival currently entitled, Lucky Me. The piece will perform August 8th & 10th at The Sonnet Theatre @ The Producer's Club.

Lucky Me is an interactive devised piece that investigates the ideas of self-control and bodily autonomy through the lens of chronic and autoimmune illness and invisible disability. In an effort to exhibit control, creators and type one diabetics, Allie Marotta and John King, attempt to manipulate their own blood sugar in real time on stage while readings from their continuous glucose monitors are projected for the audience to view. Audience members will participate in a number of moments throughout the piece, creating a different experience every time.
