Allie is a contemporary theatre artist with specializations in devised and immersive theatre. Education: MA Contemporary Performance Practices (Royal Holloway University of London), BA Acting, BA Directing (Pace University School of Performing Arts).
Most recent directorial work includes return*+ (the cell theatre), EN BUSCA | IN PURSUIT* (Teatro SEA, Salon Bklyn, Vinarte), daughters of Solomon (Sitting Shotgun), TBD: The Live Devising Project* (Cucumber Dogs - FringeNYC), and my name is not actually maria* (Cucumber Dogs - Theater for the New City).
Allie is a member of the International Performance Ensemble at Pace University and performed at the annual INFoMAT Theater Festival in Athens, Greece with her ensemble, presenting Waiting For Lefty (Harry Fatt), as well as the Biennale Arte Joven Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina presenting Cirque* (Facilitator).
Allie is the co-founder and originating executive director of Sitting Shotgun, a theatre company for emerging artists that prioritizes intersectional, accessible, and inclusive work. She is also the lead facilitator of devising community ensemble, Cucumber Dogs.
Allie currently holds teaching residencies with Wingspan Arts and Queens Theatre. She also teaches with Treasure Trunk Theatre, Broadway Bound Kids, Girl Be Heard, Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, and A Class Act NY. She is also a NYC Staff Correspondent for No Proscenium.
