As a part of Pace University's BA Acting & Directing IPE program, this year we have formed our own small ensembles to create a new piece of devised theater. My ensemble, featuring Allie Anschutz, Maya Ferguson, and Bobby Longo, has decided to focus on the setting of a circus and the identity of circus performers. We're in the early developmental stages of this process, since we won't be showcasing this work until February 2016, but we've begun to discover some really interesting things. We're working a lot with non traditional lighting, movement, and music. We plan to start seriously working with text in the coming weeks. Here's a rehearsal photo, feat.
